As a graphic designer student, I wanted to create my own website where I could showcase my work. Also when I need to send my portfolio to an employer for a job, I can easily send them the link to my website. However, having ten classes and managing the side project of my website seemed a lot. So I never got to it. However, with this project, I had to design a website. The main goal of this project was to design one of the following: a personal website, an informational/advocacy website or a commercial site. I picked a personal website topic. First, I wanted to design a portfolio website where I will have only 6 or so best projects that I have done to show my graphic design skills. However, my idea for my portfolio website required some javascript which I don’t know how to do. Thus, I ended up doing a website on my Graphic Design semesters. I have four semesters on this website because I just finished my 4th semester. With this website, I can easily show my best work of each semester to family and friends and I can also update this website when I finish my 3rd year.
